A Garage Archive Collection research project documenting the stages of development of the Museum

The chronicle reflects the history of Garage since 2008. Garage Archive Collection team chose not to produce an “artificial selection” of key events in the Museum’s history, instead presenting the life of Garage as it developed.

In 2016, Garage Research Department launched the Museum’s institutional archive, which holds documents relating to its activities, including photographs, audio and video recordings, architectural models, press releases, booklets, and invitations. Digital copies of these and other documents are available on the regularly updated platform of Russian Art Archive Network.

A list of key words assists navigation through the chronicle. Users can study documents in chronological order or create their own thematic selections.
